Experience
I graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, with a degree in mathematics and a minor in classics. During my studies, I tutored for three years at the Academic Support Center located at the campus. I feel that I have a special ability to teach both mathematics and the Latin language. Both are often more difficult subjects, but I feel sharing my love of them will ease the discomfort of learning. It is my goal to show all of my students the capabilities that we all share for learning if we are given the correct tools with which to succeed. I am able to tutor students in elementary and middle school mathematics, pre-algebra through algebra 4, precalculus through calculus 3, multivariable calculus, the AP calculus AB exam, and Latin 1 through Latin 4. In my free time, I enjoy reading, rock climbing, hiking, and spending time outdoors.
